Doris M. Delestathis (nee Harmon), 84, of Lorain, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Anchor Lodge Retirement Village, Lorain, following a short illness.
Born May 6, 1931 in Lorain, she lived in Lorain her entire life. She attended West Ridge Baptist Church, Amherst, and enjoyed bingo and Wii bowling.
Surviving are her sons, David (Maxine) Delestathis of Eaton Twp, and George (Sherri) Delestathis of Sheffield Lake; a daughter, Barbara Delestathis of Lorain; grandchildren, Carrie, Kevin and Adam; and great grandchildren, Brady and Kylie.
She was preceded in death by her husband 56 years, George in 2007; brothers, Jack Harmon and Jim Harmon; and a sister, Shirley Cramer.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 2, 2015 from 9:00 am until the time of services at 11:00 am in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Rev. Bill Fraley of West Ridge Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
