Daniel "Danny" Velez

Daniel “Danny” Velez, age 57 of Lorain, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 30, 2025 at his residence at Meister Road Group Home following a lengthy illness.

Born October 8, 1967 to Juan and Dominica (nee Rivas) Velez in Lorain, Danny lived in Lorain his entire life. He worked at the Murray Ridge Workshop in Lorain.

Surviving are his parents, Dominica Velez and Louis Primmer and his brother, Jeffrey Velez.

He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Velez in 2019 as well as his brother, Juan Velez in 2003.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain. Pastor Shannon McNeal will officiate. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
