Dallas E. Supeck (nee Ford) 79, of Lorain, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2008 at Amherst Manor Nursing Home following a lengthy illness.
She was born June 3, 1929 in Union County, TN; moving with her family to Lorain in 1968. In 1995 she moved back to Tennessee to live with her daughter, traveling back and forth to Lorain many times.
She was a member of The Church on the North Coast, Lorain, and enjoyed sewing.
Surviving are her sons, James John of Sheffield Twp, and Carl Jr. of Lorain; a daughter, Linda Bilbrey of Mount Juliet, TN; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; a brother, Floyd Preston Ford; sisters, Easter Cardellie "Dellie" Duncan, Rachel "Leona" Gunter, and Myrtle Lavada "Ada" Honeycutt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl J. in 1995; a daughter, Barbara Morano in 2007; a son Gerald "Jerry" Supeck in 1982; and a sister, Minnie "Arletta" Duncan.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am. Rev. Clara Robinson, associate pastor of The Church on The North Coast, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
