Christine Hunt

Christine Hunt (nee Parker), age 77, of Lorain, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021 at her residence following a lengthy illness.

Born December 1, 1943 in Pikeville, Kentucky, she lived in Sheffield Lake before moving to Lorain in the early 1960’s.

Christine was a member of Little Edna Old Regular Baptist Church, and enjoyed reading, auto racing and watching television, especially movies.

Surviving are her sons, Jeff Baker, Delmo (Ellie) Hunt Jr. and Charles (Julia) Hunt; a step daughter, Cynthia (Jimmy) Andujar; 9 grandchildren,  2 great grandsons and 1 great grand daughter; brothers, Shawn and John; and a sister, Vina Deel.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Delmo “Del” “D.G.” Hunt in 2010; parents, Rev. Walter and Enda (nee Rhodes) Parker; brothers, Berry, Jimmy, Billy, Joseph, Robert, Drew and Richard; and sisters, Mercy Cander and Barbara Miller.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.  Services at Resthaven Memory Gardens will be private.
