Charles T. Jones

Charles T. “Tommy” Jones III, age 36, of Lorain, was suddenly called to eternal life on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at his residence, following an unexpected illness.

Born July 23, 1988, in Elyria, he moved to Texas in 2000. He graduated from Texas City High School in 2006 and received an associate's degree from ITT Technical Institute in Webster before moving to Lorain in 2020.

Tommy was currently employed at State Industrial Products. He enjoyed sitting by an outdoor fire and listening to podcasts.

Tommy was a devoted Orthodox Christian at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church in Lorain. His love for his three children: Cordelia, age 7, Tommy, age 4, and Charly Mae, age 1 ½, was boundless, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Besides his children, Tommy leaves behind his loving wife, Nerissa (nee Williams); parents, Nina Maria Garcia and Charles T. Jones Jr.; a brother, Anthony Lee Jones; sister, Brooke Jones; maternal grandparents, Tony Garcia and Loretta Keller; and paternal grandmother, Bonnie Belcher.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Albert Salazar.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Thursday, July 24, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral services at noon at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, 3335 Grove Avenue, Lorain. The funeral will be officiated by Protosyngellos Necktarije Tesanovic, pastor. Following the service, Charles will be laid to rest in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
