Catherine Galbraith

Catherine Galbraith (nee Prusky), age 101, entered eternal life on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, following a brief illness.

She was born on April 14, 1925, in Lorain, Ohio, to the late Theodore and Anna Prusky (née Diakiw).

Catherine graduated from Lorain High School in the 1943 A class.

She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, Lorain.

Surviving are her sons, John Galbraith of Cleveland Heights and James T. (Linda) Glover of Sutton Bay, Michigan; granddaughter, Kathy (Andrew) Kinsey of Chesapeake, Virginia; and great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Riley.

Catherine was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, James, who passed away in 2011.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the funeral services begins at 11:00 am at Ss. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox Church, 2238 E. 32nd Street, Lorain. Mitered Archpriest Basil Stoyka will officiate, and burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
