Barbara J. Silvasy (nee Dombroski), age 67, of Lorain, died on Sunday, July 8, 2007 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, following a lengthy illness.
She was born on September 7, 1939 in Lorain and has lived here her entire life.
Barbara was employed as a hostess at the Castle on the Lake for the last 20 years.
She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.
She enjoyed being with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter: Joan Price, of Elyria and sister: Joan Buga, of Vermilion.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents: Stanley and Helen (nee Neitupski) Dombroski.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 from 5-7 p.m. at the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Fr. David Novak, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
