Barbara L. Farkosh (nee Kerr), 76 of Amherst, died Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Regency Hospital of Cleveland following a lengthy illness.
Born July 16, 1936 in Weatherford, Oklahoma, she lived in Texas, California, and Ohio before moving to Amherst several months ago.
Barbara was a homemaker, and loved being a wife and mother. She was a member of AA for over 30 years, and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, video games and web television.
Surviving is her husband of 38 years, George; sons, Bill Neal and Chuck Neal both of Columbia, Mo., and Frank (Jennifer) Farkosh of Amherst; 3 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lucille (nee Barton) Kerr; a son, David in 1975; and a brother, Donald Kerr.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain is handling the arrangements.
