A'naleigh Barker, 2 year old daughter of Nathaniel Barker of Lorain and Diana Hammond of Lorain, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013 at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, Cleveland. A'naleigh gave the gift of life through organ donation. She was born on January 6, 2011 in Lorain.
Besides her parents, she is also survived by her brother, Gabriel Barker and sister, Jennavecia Barker; maternal grandparents, John (Shirley) Hammond of Elyria, and Keleen (Eric) Gonzalez of Lorain; maternal great grandparents, Diane Cihak of Lorain, James Hammond of Lorain, Nadine Gonzalez of Lorain; and maternal step great grandmother Karen Zvosechz of Elyria Twp. Paternal grandparents, Jeff and Emily Barker of Lorain; paternal great grandparents, Elaine Randolph of Elyria and Luis and Margaret Torres of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her maternal great grandparents, George Zvosechz and Katherine Hammond; paternal great grandfather Hubert Randolph.
The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, held private visitation for the family. Private graveside services will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain. Contributions in her memory may be made to any branch of Lorain National Bank.
