Alberto Mendez

Alberto Mendez passed away on November 27th, 2019 surrounded by his loved one’s. He was a loving and loyal husband, father, brother and son and had a heart of gold. He was an avid fisherman and a passionate Cleveland Browns and OSU Buckeye’s Fan. Albert was a kind soul and gentle giant who would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. He enjoyed working with his hands and enjoyed fixing gadgets of many kinds. He also worked as a butcher for many years at Fligner’s Market.  He is survived by his son Andrew Mendez, Grafton, Ohio, daughter Bianca, Atlanta, Georgia, four grandchildren, his loving sister Rosemary Mendez (Raphael) Velasquez, Columbus, Ohio and In-laws Laura and New Deal Owens as well as many loving Uncles, Aunts, Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by his wife Julie (Owens) Mendez, Mother Luz C. Lugo Capetillo Mendez Maldonado and Father Antonio Mendez.
