Jose Lozada, 60 of Lorain, died Friday, November 26, 2010 at his residence following a sudden illness.
Born Feb. 16, 1950 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, he lived Chicago before moving to Lorain in 1991.
Jose worked as an auto detailer for Discount Motors, Lorain. He was a member of Casa De Dios y Puerto Del Cielo, Lorain and enjoyed fishing.
Surviving are his sons, Jose Pabon of Cleveland, Luis Pabon of Lorain, Joel Lozada of Utica, NY, and Obel Lozada of Utica, NY; daughters, Yolanda Lozada and Milagros Pabon both of Lorain; 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; a brother, Raul Lozada of Orlando, FL; and sister, Santa Lozada of Chicago; and his companion, Carmen Delgado of Lorain.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Lucia (nee Quinoz) Lozada; brothers, Eriberto Lozada, Nelson Lozada, Christopher Lozada and Victor Alicea; and a sister, Ana Alicea.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm in Casa De Dios y Puerto Del Cielo, 220 E. 28th St., Lorain. Visitation and funeral services will be in Caribe Funeral Home in Chicago. Burial will follow in Chicago.
